For general and in memoriam donations.

Wheatland and Area Hospice Society uses CanadaHelps.org to facilitate online donations and to run events, they charge 5.5% for money raised online during an event and 4% for donations received throughout the year. We are hoping to raise $300,000/year for our programs and towards a capital fund for a six bed rural hospice in our community.

Important: Please send a separate email notifying her of your full name, mailing address, and the purpose of your donation (Hike, Farming, In Memoriam, General) and a CRA charitable tax receipt will be provided by mail in a timely manner.

Please ensure that your full mailing address and purpose of cheque (Hike, Farming, In Memoriam-for who) is included.
All cheques over $20 will receive a CRA charitable tax receipt by mail in a timely manner.

Donate Securities
A gift of publically traded shares receives a 100% tax credit on the capital gains of the shares. This will result in a larger tax savings than if you sold them and donated the proceeds. If this is something you are considering, please initiate by Novermber 1st to ensure completion for December 31.
