Casey Silbernagel  August 21, 1957 ~ January 2, 2020

Casey tribute
This is a statement was made at  Wheatland Area Hospice Society's last Board Meeting January 22, 2020 in memory of
Casey Silbernagel - WAHS Vice-President

Everybody deserves three things:
  • A good birth
  • A good life
  • A good death
While Casey’s sudden death on January 2, 2020,  is arguably not the best example of a good death, I think we can all agree that Casey had a good life, indeed an exceptional life. His life had humility, compassion and generosity. And ultimately Casey’s greatness to all of us was really his gratefulness for a good life.Thank you Casey Silbernagel for sharing your life with us.Let’s pause for a moment and reflect on Casey’s life and our own life, our meaning, our purpose and our hope.
